Journalism Lab and Network
Sacred Heart Degree College for Women is known for its friendly nature and innovation. Humanities Department provides a contemporary Media Lab which comprises of Editing Software, Speakers, Audio Mixer and News papers. The lab is an intersection of the theoretical concepts and its practical implementation to encourage aspiring Journalists to hone their journalistic skills. It provides them right ambience to conduct activities such as mock sessions, Interviews and Editing Short Films produced by the students.
In journalism we practically train our students to go tech fly in air. In journalism department the students are given practical knowledge on how to handle the present software in journalism lab, to create a blog, newspaper in-design, editing and news article writing and systems-based analysis of innovation. This includes how media labs are either configured within this system or how decision-making within a system points towards the creation of many technology based ideas.
